Kerem started with us 6 months ago.
With aspirations of passing a physical entrance test for a job he was going for, he was incredibly motivated to get stuck in.
With zero training history and low levels of fitness. Our first priority was helping Kerem establish some good habits surrounding his nutrition and exercise.
For nutrition we had him cut out foods with added sugar, this was hard at first but once the weight started coming off he felt the motivation to stick with it. Later we introduced food tracking which he still does today.
With exercise, it was all about two things… Going light and being consistent. Like most people starting the gym for the first time, he went out too hard and had to have a few forced days off because he was crazy sore. But after bit of coaching, Kerem learnt how to train at the right amount of intensity so he can back up the next day without being too sore.
Since being with us Kerem has lost 23kg of weight, gained 1kg muscle, and lost 15% body fat. On top of this, he passed his physical test and got the job.
Kerem is quite possibly the nicest person on earth. His empathetic natured personality combined with his humility and positivity make him an absolute pleasure to work with. He was voted “Spirit of Reclaim” award for 2020 which 100% speaks volumes for Kerem’s core values.
