Sam Murphy

Sam has worked in the Health & Fitness industry as a Personal Trainer/ Strength and Conditioning Coach/ Health Coach since 2005. With an obsession for helping people, Sam began teaching at TAFE in 2008 across a variety of courses including Certificate III & IV in Fitness, Diploma of Sport Development, and health based units within the Certificate IV in Youth Work. Equipped with expert skills in Fitness, Sam progressed to developing the educational curriculum for UOW College where he managed the Fitness program and led a teaching team in delivering the Certificate III & IV in Fitness courses. With 13 years in the fitness industry and 8 years teaching up-and-coming fitness professionals, Sam has become specialised in a number of areas including nutrition, mobility, strength & conditioning, goal / habit setting and special populations to have a greater impact with people from all walks of life.

Ash Peppernell

Ash has always had a love for all things sport and fitness. From a young age, she competed in many sports – Surf Club, Swimming, Hockey and Netball. It was in high school, that Ash discovered her passion, Rowing. Ash excelled in the sport, where she represented NSW and Australia, at both a State and National level. As a result, Ash has been afforded the opportunity to impart her expertise to younger athletes by becoming a Rowing Coach and further studied a Bachelor of Physical Education. In 2011, she hung up her oars, finished her studies and moved into a career as a PE Teacher. During this time, Ash also worked as the ‘Head of Rowing’ and ‘Rowing Coach’ for 5 years before transitioning to a permanent Rowing coaching position at PLC Sydney in 2016. Ash still continues to shape the rowing skills of young athletes today.

After many years of being an elite athlete, Ash discovered CrossFit – Her perfect balance of strength, conditioning and healthy competition. Ash’s passion for coaching and helping people, overflowed into CrossFit and in 2016, Ash became a CrossFit Coach. She loves being part of a community who shares her love and values for health and fitness, as well as being able to support people on their health journey.

Ash understands the importance of balance and is always up for a scoop of ice cream or a loaf of garlic bread.

Jesse Langbien

Jesse is an experienced CrossFit Coach who brings a wealth of knowledge to our box. Jessehas been exploring strength and conditioning training for the past 15 years – Everything fromlong distance running, Triathlon’s, BMX/downhill riding, Football, Bodybuilding, Swimming/lifeguarding etc. Throughout Jesse’s fitness adventures, he discovered that he has an interest in learning new movements, rather than trying to be exceptional at any one thing. Jesse has been an athletic sportsman for most of his life and has competed in CrossFit style competition’s in recent years.

Jesse has done Olympic Lifting, Touch Football, Gymnastics Strength training and is dabbling in low level Brazilian ju jitzu.

Jesse has always struggled with eating healthy – his family never ate well, and he still finds it incredibly difficult to change his habits as an adult. We all have chinks in our health and fitness journey and no-one is blessed with perfect genetics or perfect circumstances. Jesse’s philosophy is to still to go after your health and fitness goals, because the feeling of changing your life around, after big setbacks, is worth every drop of sweat and commitment it takes.

Tim Reyter

Tim first developed a love for exercise in the military, where he serves as a Rifleman in the Army Reserves. His passion for health and fitness led him to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer, so he could help people achieve their fitness and body composition goals.

Tim lives by CrossFit founder Greg Glassman’s teaching to “Regularly learn and play new sports” and has pursued learning a wide variety of sports, including snowboarding, powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting. Tim is super excited to be living on the south coast for the first time, so he can learn to surf!

Tim has competed in a men’s physique bodybuilding competition, where the fake tan and constant cravings for Ben and Jerry’s ice cream made him miss the CrossFit lifestyle. Tim has been doing CrossFit since 2012 and has been a judge at the Pacific Regionals, five times. His favourite workouts are anything with a heavy barbell, and/or rowing.

Jayden Eunson

Jayden has a range of experience from coaching non-competitive soccer for 2-12-year-olds, junior sports, as well working with Exercise Physiologists to program specific exercise plans for the elderly. He has touched all walks of life and even kept the teachers in shape at TAFE New England by running fitness classes using his PT qualifications.

Jayden has a background in BMX racing which inspired him to start CrossFit and weightlifting. It was through these exercises that his passion for movement grew. Jayden wants to help people be the most functional being they possibly can be. He achieves this through education of health and nutrition as well as encouraging people to move optimally throughout their whole day rather than for just the hour in the gym. Jayden has been lucky enough to have worked with, trained and learnt from various specialty trainers and coaches.

Jayden owns more novelty socks than he does T-shirts and has a unique skill in being able to sweat up storm that he will change the colour of his shirt.
